If you’re looking for one of the most beautiful places to ride in
North America
, you need to head north to
Alaska
. We recently spent several days in Summer Solstice exploring
Alaska
, everything from riding ATVs through the
Talketna
Mountains
near
Denali
National Park
to riding ATVs up to the base of the Kinec Glacier. Some of our other adventures while there included King Salmon Fishing with Century Fishing on the Kenai River, slaloming up the twenty mile river on the Glacier Jet Boat Ride through some of the narrowest treks to the base of yet another huge glacier, taking in the wildlife on the Kenai Fjord Cruise and then soaring the sky in a bush airplane to get up close and personal with some Alaskan black and brown bears. Our guides at Alaska All Terrain centers of
Anchorage
,
Alaska
gave us the VIP tour taking us on some of their best ATV riding areas. If you really feeling adventurous, Alaska All Terrain Centers can also hook you up with the Glacier Jet Boat tour, Glacier Dog Mushing, Personal Watercraft, Snowmobiling, Flight Seeing Tours, and Horseback Riding.
I would definitely recommend taking a GPS and topo map along or a guide because it would be really easy to get lost for days in open areas and lots of mountains to explore. These trails range from easy to most difficult with all the wild life you ever wanted to see! Some of this wildlife included Orca Whales aka Killer Whales, Porpoises, Stellar Sea Lions, Harbor Seals, Sea Otters, King Salmon, Halibut, Mountain Goats, Brown Bear, Black Bear, and so much more! We also saw lots of Moose, but never got to see Bull Winkle! Guess that’s for my next trip there!
Alaska
has it all! It’s definitely a trip of a life time!
